This flamenco guitar was made by the guitar maker José A. Fuentes, from Barcelona, in 2019. He is one of the best representatives guitar makers in Catalonia. After working for more than 15 years as a carpenter, his passion for music and his talent when treating wood made him begin a new stage as guitar builder in a self-taught way, studying the construction systems of great guitar makers in history as Santos Hernández, Antonio de Torres, Miguel Rodríguez … and experimenting with new ideas and contributions that have led him to be one of the best guitarists of the current scene. His instruments reflect part of his personality, simple, elegant and minimalist always running away from the excesses of decoration, and using for the construction carefully selected woods and a long process of drying and curing.

The woods of this guitar are simply extraordinary. The German spruce top has got a very marked, straight and even grain. The back and sides are made of cypress of the highest quality, concerning both the cut and the excellent wood seasoning this guitar maker gives all his woods for years. The finishes are simple and sober, but also elegant.

Its spectacular sound and marked character are other great features of this work of art. The basses are quite powerful but also deep. The trebles are vivid, crystal clear, with great scope and sustain.

This guitar has got medium tension, and a reduced height of strings in the saddle and fingerboard, providing the guitarist with a high degree of comfort for both hands, as well as an easy performance.
