Flamenco guitar José López Bellido 1977

This flamenco guitar was built by the renowned guitar maker José López Bellido, one of the most recognized luthiers in Granada. His guitars have seen the stages around the world in the hands of large concert both classical and flamenco.

The wood used for the top is German spruce, and spanish Cypress for back and sides. The top has a very accentuated grain, completely straight and uniform. The back and sides are made of cypress wood, with an outstanding quality and beauty.

José López Bellido is, as we have said some other times, one of our favourite luthiers in Granada. In the timbre of his guitars, we find some influence from maestro Manuel de la Chica, with that depth, flamenco spirit and elegance so typical of him. Its strumming is really fast, and very flamenco, with a brightness always present, which we love, as you can rest assured that, even if we are playing with worn out strings, we will be able to enjoy its clearness on and on. The trebles are so powerful, explosive, with this clear timbre, which is every guitarist´s dream come true.

This guitar has got medium tension, and a reduced height of strings in the saddle and fingerboard, providing the guitarist with a high degree of comfort for both hands, as well as an easy performance.

The condition of this guitar is excellent and completely original without any cracks or repairs.
