This flamenco guitar was made by Jose Rodriguez Peña (Cordoba) in 2006. Considered one of the best builders in Spain, their guitars are used by guitarists and musicians from around the world as Pepe Justicia, Alejandro Sanz, Vicente Amigo, Paco Serrano… etc.
The woods employed for this guitar is canadian cedar for the top and Spanish Royal cypress for back and sides. The top has got a very marked, straight and even grain along its whole surface. The back and sides are made of cypress wood, with an outstanding quality and beauty.
This guitar presents a warm sound, with a particularly flamenco timbre which brings us back to the 70s guitars. This is guitar which, despite not showing a remarkable volume, offers a sound full of nuances, and with higher quality than most guitars of this category.
The tension of this flamenco guitar is medium, so it can be played very easily, and safely. Additionally, the height of strings in the saddle and fingerboard is low, thereby ensuring an extraordinary level of comfort.
The condition of the flamenco guitar is very good, only has a small crack on the bodyside perfectly repaired and documented in the attached images.
