This flamenco guitar was built in 1992 by the master luthier José Romero of Madrid. Regarded as one of the finest contemporary guitar makers in Madrid, José Romero learned his craft in the workshop of José Ramírez, where he worked for fifteen years as a Master Craftsman. In 1983, he established his own workshop, where he continues to build guitars entirely by hand, remaining faithful to the finest traditions of Spanish lutherie.

The tonewoods selected for this flamenco guitar meet the highest standards of traditional Spanish guitar making. The soundboard is crafted from premium German spruce, featuring a straight, fine, and exceptionally even grain, while the back and sides are made from carefully selected cypress. All the woods have undergone an extensive natural seasoning and aging process, ensuring outstanding structural stability while allowing the instrument to develop exceptional tonal qualities over time.

From the very first chord, this guitar reveals an outstanding tonal character. The basses are deep, articulate, and rich in harmonic content, while the trebles are clear, crystalline, and possess a remarkable sweetness and elegance. The result is a beautifully balanced sound with excellent projection and an immediate, responsive attack that fully captures the essence of a great flamenco guitar.

The guitar features a medium action, providing the ideal balance between playing comfort and projection. The string height at both the bridge and the fingerboard has been carefully adjusted to ensure precise, effortless playability, allowing the guitarist to perform every flamenco technique with confidence and fluidity.

The guitar remains in excellent, completely original condition, with no cracks or repairs of any kind.
