The great luthier José Romero in Madrid makes this flamenco guitar, the year 2015. Considered one of the best artisans in nowadays Madrid, he learned the art in the workshop ran by José Ramírez, where he worked for 15 years as a “Master Artisan”. In the year 1983 he decided to open his own workshop, where he keeps working today making guitars in a truly artisanal way.
The chosen woods for this flamenco guitar are German spruce for the top, with a completely straight and even grain, and cypress for back and sides, a very selected woods and a drying process and optimal healing.
The sound is extraordinary, the basses are very deep and well-defined, and the trebles is crystalline, very clear, and with a very particular sweetness, all of which makes it a very balanced set of features. The sound quality is unique, being equally maintained in every single note all over the fingerboard.
The tension of the flamenco guitar is medium, this added to the reduced height of the strings at the bridge and fingerboard gives to the guitarist a great comfort in either hand.
The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent, and completely original, without any crack or repair whatsoever.
