The Californian guitar maker Lester Devoe is the luthier who made this fine flamenco guitar, made in 2005. Lester Devoe is regarded as one of the best flamenco guitar makers in the world. In fact, his pieces of work have been praised and played by Paco de Lucia, Vicente Amigo, Sabicas… both in recording studios and live concerts.
The different woods in this flamenco guitar are of the top existing quality. The top is made of canadian cedar, with an outlined grain, straight and smooth, that endorse its exceptional quality. The back and sides are made of Indian rosewood, with a straight grain and beautiful tones. The finishing is elegant and sober.
The sound of this guitar is unique. The basses are unbelievably strong and deep, the trebles are sweet and clear, with an unmatchable sustain and projection. The harmonics it releases are truly magic. It is definitely a perfect sound, which makes us understand the respect and admiration that this firm gets from the guitar world.
The tension of the guitar is medium, and the height of the strings in saddle and fingerboard perfect, really balanced, which grants the performer a high degree of comfort for both hands.
The condition of this guitar is excellent, without any cracks or repairs.
