The Californian guitar maker Lester Devoe is the luthier who made this fine flamenco guitar, made in 2010. Lester Devoe is regarded as one of the best flamenco guitar makers in the world. In fact, his pieces of work have been praised and played by Paco de Lucia, Vicente Amigo, Sabicas… both in recording studios and live concerts.

This flamenco guitar is built with beautiful woods of the highest quality available. The German spruce top features straight and uniform grain across its entire surface. The back and sides are made of Madagascar rosewood with stunning tones that are enhanced by its artistic grain. The back is constructed with four pieces to achieve this striking visual effect. For this reason, if we look inside the guitar, we can see small pawns placed by Lester himself to reinforce the joint, which are not cracks by any means!

The sound of Lester’s guitars has always fascinated us. He is one of those luthiers whose unique sound makes you always want to have one of his guitars in your collection. Besides having a distinct and powerfully flamenco voice, it is an instrument particularly well-suited for studio recording and perfectly adaptable to stage amplification. Furthermore, we recently saw on the craftsman’s website that the order list has been closed, which means no new guitars bearing the signature of this master luthier are likely to be made.

The strings height and adjustment which this guitar allows is simply perfect, this permits an extremely comfortable touch in both hands and an increase in fluidity when playing the instrument.

The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent and completely original, without any kind of cracks or repairs whatsoever.
