The Californian guitar maker Lester Devoe is the luthier who made this fine flamenco guitar, made in 2012. Lester Devoe is regarded as one of the best flamenco guitar makers in the world. In fact, his pieces of work have been praised and played by Paco de Lucia, Vicente Amigo, Sabicas… both in recording studios and live concerts.
This flamenco guitar is the highest quality made by this craftsman. The quality of its wood and finish, as well as its sound, are excellence embodied in a guitar. It is a concert guitar in all aspects: tuning, projection, volume, clarity… A true jewel built with the best types of woods: a German spruce top with a marked, straight and uniform grain and dark Brazilian rosewood with beautiful coppery reflections. Its mechanical wooden pegs guarantees easy and simple tuning and the astonishing aesthetics of a traditional wooden pegs headstock.
This guitar has the highly-valued “rebound beating” on the right hand, combined with fantastic softness on the left one, thus accomplishing the “perfect instrument”, should we want to spend hours and hours playing non-stop with a nice feeling of ease. The height on the fret 12 is 2.1 millimeters, which allows our left hand to do its job very easily and fluently.
The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent and completely original, without any kind of cracks or repairs whatsoever.
