This flamenco guitar was made by the master luthier Manuel Reyes in 1991. His guitars are regarded as pieces of work, and him, as one of the greatest luthiers ever. In fact, his guitars have been (and are) played by some of the best performers ever: Vicente Amigo, Tomatito, Jose Luis Postigo, Manolo Franco, and so many others.
This flamenco guitar is built with superior quality woods, impossible to obtain nowadays. The top are made of german spruce has a totally straight and even grain, which is quite accentuated. The back and sides are made of cypress wood, whose beauty and quality are simply magnificent.
The sound of this guitar is extraordinary. The basses are unbelievably strong and deep, the trebles are sweet and clear, with an unmatchable sustain and projection. The harmonics it releases are truly magic. The “rasgueos” whit this guitar are just unbeatable: crystal-clear, broken and bright, with that particular “dry” and “hollow” sound, typical in the best flamenco guitars.
The tension of this flamenco guitar is medium, so it can be played very easily, and safely. Additionally, the height of strings in the saddle and fingerboard is low, thereby ensuring an extraordinary level of comfort.
The conservation condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent and original in its entirety, only has a small fisure in the back practically indistinguishable and perfectly repaired.
