Flamenco guitar Manuel Reyes 1972

This flamenco guitar was made by the master luthier Manuel Reyes in 1972. His guitars are regarded as pieces of work, and him, as one of the greatest luthiers ever. In fact, his guitars have been (and are) played by some of the best performers ever: Vicente Amigo, Tomatito, Jose Luis Postigo, Manolo Franco, and so many others.

This flamenco guitar is built with superior quality woods, impossible to obtain nowadays. The top are made of german spruce has a totally straight and even grain, which is quite accentuated. The back and sides are made of cypress wood, whose beauty and quality are simply magnificent.

The sound is extraordinary, with an unbeatable character. The basses are powerful, with extraordinary depth. The trebles are crystal clear and bright, with great scope and sustain, and showing a perfect balance between both of them. This guitar´s strumming is just unbeatable: it has Reyes´s distinctive timbre: broken and bright, but with the added personality acquired as time goes by, making this sound the quintessence of FLAMENCO.

The tension of this flamenco guitar is medium, and the height of strings in saddle and fingerboard, really balanced, which provides the performer with an easy execution and great comfort for both hands.

The condition is excellent and completely original (tuners, shellac…), without any kind of cracks or repairs whatsoever.
