This flamenco guitar was made by the master luthier Manuel Reyes (son) in 2023. Manuel Reyes Maldonado´s son, he succeeded in learning and developing his father´s teachings, after sharing the workshop, and producing equally good guitars, regarding both the making and sound. It must be remarked the fact that in those first years of learning, those guitars were made by father and son together.

The woods used in this flamenco guitar are of the highest quality available. The soundboard is made of German spruce, with very pronounced, straight, and uniform grain that attests to its quality. The back and sides are made of Indian rosewood with straight grain and beautiful tonal variations. The finishes are sober and elegant.

This is one of the first guitars by Manuel Reyes son signed under the name “Manuel Reyes,” leaving behind the “hijo” distinction in his label and signature. Although it is a new guitar, it is dated 2023 because it was started that year but finished in 2024 due to a pause in its construction caused by a necessary eye surgery.

This instrument represents the true concert guitar in its highest expression. We are looking at a guitar with the unmistakable timbre of Manuel Reyes but with projection and tonal quality that defy all logic. Power, intonation, sustain… all the qualities of the finest concert guitars come together in this genuine masterpiece of Spanish guitar craftsmanship.

The strings height and adjustment which this guitar allows is simply perfect, this permits an extremely comfortable touch in both hands and an increase in fluidity when playing the instrument.
