This flamenco guitar was built by luthier Pedro Muriel in 2026. This guitar maker, based in Herrera (Seville), began his journey into guitar making driven by his deep passion for the flamenco guitar. Throughout his career, and thanks to his constant desire to deepen his knowledge of the art of lutherie, he has had the opportunity to share countless conversations and meetings with some of the greatest guitar makers of our time, including Manuel Reyes and Francisco Barba, from whom he has gained invaluable knowledge and experience. He has also shared a workshop with Francisco Sánchez, where, thanks to the master’s generosity, he has been able to develop and refine his current concept of guitar making. Through his hands have passed guitars built by some of the most important luthiers in history, including Gerundino Fernández, Manuel Reyes, Francisco Barba, Santos Hernández, Antonio de Torres and Marcelo Barbero, among many others. This has enabled him to study their different construction styles in great detail and acquire a profound understanding of the handcrafted guitar, establishing himself as one of today’s most distinguished guitar makers.

Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to study guitars by some of the finest guitar makers in history, including Gerundino Fernández, Manuel Reyes, Francisco Barba, Santos Hernández and Marcelo Barbero, among many others. This invaluable experience has allowed him to carefully analyze their different construction styles and acquire extensive knowledge of the art of lutherie, establishing himself as one of the most promising and highly regarded emerging luthiers of his generation. His guitars stand out for their outstanding craftsmanship and a truly unique and remarkable acoustic character.
