Flamenco guitar Peña Vargas Mod. Taranto 2017 nº098

This flamenco guitar was built by luthier David Peña in 2017. This young builder from Jerez de la Frontera has excelled quickly in the field of Spanish guitar making, becoming one of the novice craftsmen with greater impact. His guitars offer outstanding quality at a very competitive price, it is not surprising that artists like Diego del Morao, José Gálvez, Niño Jero, Diego Carrasco, Antonio Rey, Roman Miroshnichenko, Manuel Valencia, Pepe del Morao… trust this builder’s guitars to play in many of their performances.

The wood used for the top is German spruce, and spanish Cypress for back and sides. The top has a very accentuated grain, completely straight and uniform. The back and sides are made of cypress wood, with an outstanding quality and beauty.

We have had several guitars made by this excellent craftsman so far, but this one in particular has surprised us very positively: the flexibility its wood offers on the top influences the sound and the beating. It results, in turn, in extreme comfort for both hands, as well as a mature and deep sound, thus making this guitar one of the “funniest” to play in our current stock.

The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent and completely original, without any kind of cracks or repairs whatsoever.
