Flamenco guitar Paco de Lucia´s Sobrinos de Domingo Esteso 1971

This flamenco guitar has belonged to the best guitarist in the history of flamenco guitar. Francisco Sánchez Gómez “PACO DE LUCIA”. This guitar of the firm Sobrinos de Domingo Esteso 1971, built in the landmark workshop at Gravina Street 7, by the nephews of master luthier Domingo Esteso, at that time run by the brothers Faustino and Mariano Conde, has been part of the personal collection of the ‘maestro’ since it was given to him in that year after ordering the construction of two special flamenco guitars with identical characteristics, one being for the master Paco de Lucia and the other for the ‘maestro’ Manolo Sanlúcar. All the above is perfectly certified and written by Conde Hermanos firm in a document to be delivered along with the instrument at the time of purchase.

The different woods in this flamenco guitar are of the top existing quality. The top is made of Canadian Cedar, with an outlined grain, straight and smooth, that endorse its exceptional quality. The back and sides are made of Indian rosewood, with a straight grain and beautiful tones.

The sound has a quality and character unmatchable. The bases are powerful and with an extraordinary depth, the trebles are crystalline and brilliant, with great projection and sustain, keeping a perfect balance between the two of them.

The tension of this flamenco guitar is medium, and the height of strings in the bridge pin and fret board is perfectly balanced, ensuring great comfort in both hands and easing the guitarist performing.

The condition of this guitar is excellent and completly original, without any cracks or repairs.
