This flamenco guitar was made in 2002 by the master luthier Ricardo Sanchis Carpio, from Valencia. His guitars are often praised and played in the flamenco world, in which these guitars could be seen on stage all over the world, with guitar performers such as Pedro Sierra, Tomatito, José Andrés Cortés, and many others.
The woods employed for this guitar is German spruce for the top and Spanish Royal cypress for back and sides. The top has got a very marked, straight and even grain along its whole surface. The back and sides are made of cypress wood, with an outstanding quality and beauty.
We have always particularly liked Ricardo Sanchis Carpio´s guitars from that time. They have a special charm, making them similar to a good guitar by Conde Brothers, with this unique depth in the bass strings, as well as this clarity and aggresiveness of the trebles, which makes them definitely different from the rest. In addition, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find one of Ricardo´s guitars of that time, as their quality and aesthetics have turned it into the best value-for-money guitar of the second hand market at present.
The tension of this flamenco guitar is medium, and the heights of the strings in fingerboard and saddle are perfect, providing us with such a high degree of comfort that one will be delighted.
The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent and completely original, without any kind of cracks or repairs whatsoever.
