Flamenco guitar Sobrinos de Domingo Esteso 1970

This flamenco guitar was made by the master luthier Domingo Esteso´s nephews in the emblematic workshop in 7 Gravina Street. This workshop was owned by Faustino and Mariano Conde. Lots of great performers have been in this workshop. For example, Paco de Lucía, Melchor de Marchena, Niño Ricardo, Cepero, Pepe Habichuela, and so many others.

The different woods in this flamenco guitar are of the top existing quality. The top are made of german spruce has a totally straight and even grain, which is quite accentuated. The back and sides are made of cypress wood, whose beauty and quality are simply magnificent.

The sound is pure elegance, with deep, well defined bass stops, and crystal-clear trebles, which are also especially sweet. A simply unmistakable timbre, different from the instruments made by other craftsmen. This guitar can captivate both experts and amateurs.

The action of this flamenco guitar is medium, and the height of the strings in the fingerboard and saddle is perfect and balanced, assuring great comfort on both hands and easing up the guitarist performance.

The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent and completely original as regards tone. It only has two small cracks on both sides of the fingerboard, om the top. This kind of cracks is fairly common in old guitars. They do not pose a serious problem neither they affect the sound quality in any way, even when they are not repaired. In this case, the cracks are perfectly repaired and backed up with evidence on the images attached.
