The Historic 1970 Francisco Barba Guitar Owned by Pepe Habichuela Returns to Solera Flamenca

We are truly delighted to announce the arrival of a genuinely exceptional guitar to our collection: an extraordinary flamenco guitar built by master luthier Francisco Barba in 1970, formerly owned by the maestro Pepe Habichuela. SEE GUITAR

Approximately ten years ago, Pepe Habichuela himself purchased this guitar directly from us. Since then, the instrument accompanied him throughout a very special period of his artistic career, gradually becoming one of his favorite guitars over the years.

For us, it is deeply meaningful to welcome this guitar back after such a long time. What returns is not only an exceptional instrument crafted by one of the greatest names in flamenco guitar making, but also a guitar that lived for years alongside one of the most important artists in flamenco history, absorbing his sensitivity, his touch, and his musical essence.

Those who truly know flamenco guitars understand that certain instruments eventually absorb part of the soul of the musicians who play them. And this guitar conveys exactly that: personality, history, inspiration, and authentic flamenco character in every note.

Built with extraordinary woods and blessed with a deep, aged, and richly nuanced tone, this Francisco Barba guitar also represents a piece of enormous historical and artistic value for collectors, enthusiasts, and lovers of the purest flamenco guitar tradition.

We feel deeply grateful and genuinely happy to have such a special guitar back in our hands — now carrying even more history, emotion, and authentic flamenco spirit than ever before.
