Flamenco guitar Andrés Domínguez 1997

This flamenco guitar was made by the luthier Andrés Domínguez in 1997. This luthier from Jerez started his career with the maker Manuel Ortega Sousa as a mentor. Manuel taught him guitar maker, taking Santos Hernández´s work as inspiration. He had an obvious natural born talent, and special skills for working with wood, all of which led him to making handcrafted guitars. Moreover, his wide knowledge of the guitar as a performer helped to increase his already vast knowledge of this instrument.

The woods employed for the making of this guitar are of extraordinary beauty and quality. For example, those woods have been used after a careful seasoning process. The top has been made of German spruce, with a straight and even grain. The back and sides are made of cypress wood with an aesthetically perfect cut.

Its sound is really marvelous. The basses are deep and strumming, and the trebles, bright and crystal clear, with a sustained sound, a perfect balance between basses and trebles and an incredibly flamenco timbre that sublimely combines power and volume with quality and perfect pitch.

The tension of this flamenco guitar is medium. The height of the strings in the fingerboard and saddle is very balanced, providing us with a high level of comfort for both hands, as well as simplicity for the performance itself.

The condition of this flamenco guitar is new.
