Flamenco guitar Antonio Marín Montero 2015

This flamenco guitar was made by the prestigious guitar maker Antonio Marín Montero, from Granada, in 2015. His guitars have been admired by performers and luthiers all over the world, because of their great quality, concerning both sound and the overall making process, all of which makes him one of the best guitar makers ever.

The wood of this flamenco guitar are of supreme quality. The top is made of German spruce, with a straight, even and very marked grain along its whole surface, whereas perfect cypress wood has been chosen for the back and sides. This guitar has different characteristics from the usual in Antonio Marín´s instruments. This is due to this guitar being a special order, a customized instrument with a 660 scale (whereas 650 is the usual scale for this maker) and some more distance between strings on the nut and the bridge. Specially remarkable has to be the headstock: a traditional one, but with an internal mechanism, making accurate tuning possible, without the disadvantages of the old wooden headstocks, combining thus the beauty of the latter with the accuracy and convenience of the modern mechanical headstock.

The sound of this guitar shows both great volume and quality. The basses are powerful and deep, the trebles are very clear and brilliant, having a perfect balance between basses and trebles, and a very accentuated flamenco sound.

The tension of this flamenco guitar is medium, and the height of strings in saddle and fingerboard is reduced, providing us with a high level of comfort for both hands, as well as simplicity for the performance itself.

The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent and completely original, without any cracks or repairs whatsoever.
