This flamenco guitar has been made by the great luthier Francisco Barba in 2022. He is regarded as one of the best guitar makers ever and his guitars have been (and are) praised and used by some of the best guitarists in the world: Niño de Pura, Manuel Molina, Rafael Riqueni, Pepe Habichuela… and so many others.

The different woods in this flamenco guitar are of the top existing quality. The top are made of canadian cedar has a totally straight and even grain, which is quite accentuated. The back and sides are made of cypress wood, whose beauty and quality are simply magnificent.

Specially remarkable has to be the headstock: a traditional one, but with an internal mechanism, making accurate tuning possible, without the disadvantages of the old wooden headstocks, combining thus the beauty of the latter with the accuracy and convenience of the modern mechanical headstock.

This flamenco guitar is really exceptional. We would like to highlight the fact that some of the very best instruments we have ever had in our hands have been made by this guitar maker with cedar and cypress woods, particularly in the 70s and 80s. A guitar with a flamenco timbre which beats the unbeatable: crystal-clear, accurate and with a really quick response. In short, it gathers all the attributes which the most demanding guitar lover could ever dream of.

The tension is medium, very comfortable for both hands, due to the reduced height of strings in the saddle and fingerboard.
