This flamenco guitar was built by the prestigious Hermanos Conde de Madrid, in the year 2004. After having worked together in 7 Gravina Street, Mariano Conde decided to work on his own in Felipe V Street, Madrid, where he taught his children, Mariano and Felipe Conde, the art of guitar making. These two children learnt so much that they managed to take over the workshop until 2010.
The woods used for the construction of this guitar are of a sublime quality and beauty. German spruce is used for the top, with an excellent straight and fine grain. The Caviuna wood in back and sides has got some spectaculars drawings and fabrics. The finishes are the typical ones of Hermanos Conde.
The sound beats all the expectations one may have before testing a guitar. The bass stops are powerful, with a dry and percussive timbre. The trebles are crystal-clear, with an unbeatable scope and definition. A real gem, capable of making anybody fall in love with it, no matter how demanding they are.
This guitar has got medium tension, and a very reduced height of strings, providing the guitarist with a high degree of comfort for both hands, as well as an easy performance.
The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent, and completely original, without any crack or repair whatsoever.
