This flamenco guitar was built in the landmark workshop Gravina Street No. 7 by the nephews of the master luthier Domingo Esteso, then run by brothers Faustino and Mariano Conde. Many were the figures who passed through this workshop suing their guitars as Paco de Lucia, Melchor de Marchena, Niño Ricardo, Cepero, Pepe Habichuela… and much more.
The different woods in this flamenco guitar are of the top existing quality. The top are made of german spruce has a totally straight and even grain, which is quite accentuated. The back and sides are made of cypress wood, whose beauty and quality are simply magnificent.
We always have (and always will) let you know how happy we are to find guitars of the best time of this firm from Madrid, with a spotless condition, just like a guitar which has just been bought.
It is almost a miracle, which makes us feel like we have travelled back in time, enjoying the instrument to the fullest, like we are its first owners, receiving the instrument at the very workshop at that time… which is, of course, a priceless experience!
In its sound we find the essence of the timbre of the firm’s best guitars in this wonderful period, the 70’s, which we love so much and which was the chalice from which the great figures of the history of the flamenco guitar drank. A sound with presence, clear and powerful. A sound that enhances the music of the guitarist who makes it sound.
This guitar has the highly-valued “rebound beating” on the right hand, combined with fantastic softness on the left one, thus accomplishing the “perfect instrument”, should we want to spend hours and hours playing non-stop with a nice feeling of ease.
The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent, being completely original and without any single kind of crack or repair whatsoever.
