This flamenco guitar has been made by the Hermanos Conde in 53 Atocha Street, Madrid. This workshop opened in the early 50s in order to fulfill the increasing demand of their wonderful guitars. Julio Conde Domingo Esteso´s nephew, was in charge of that workshop until Faustino and Mariano Conde, his brothers, died in 1988 and 1989, him remaining as Domingo Esteso´s only disciple, going on making guitars for this firm until his death in 1995.
The chosen woods for this flamenco guitar are German spruce for the top, with a completely straight and even grain, and cypress for back and sides, a very selected woods and a drying process and optimal healing.
This guitar, even though it can not be regarded as a concert one, due to its scope and volume, is really fun to play, and an option to be seriously considered, because of its value for money, its beautiful flamenco timbre and the comfort it offers.
The tension is medium, very comfortable for both hands, due to the reduced height of strings in the saddle and fingerboard.
The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent and completely original, without any kind of cracks or repairs whatsoever.
