Flamenco guitar Mariano Conde A26 nº59 2017 EX-PACO CEPERO

This flamenco guitar was built by the luthier Mariano Conde from Madrid in the year 2017. After parting ways with his brother Felipe Conde, with whom he shared a workshop on Felipe V street, they left behind the renowned brand “Conde Hermanos” and Mariano opened his own workshop at Amnistía Street nº1, where he continues to build guitars following the tradition of the Madrid school of Domingo Esteso-Hermanos Conde.

The woods used for the construction of this flamenco guitar are German spruce for the top and Spanish royal cypress for the back and sides.

This flamenco guitar belonged to maestro Paco Cepero, for whom it was specially built, as can be seen in the attached images.

The sound of this flamenco guitar pleasantly surprised us, as it is, to date, the best guitar by Mariano Conde that has passed through Solera Flamenca over the years. A guitar with a powerful and strong sound, with basses that perfectly combine depth and brightness, and very aggressive trebles with long and sustained projection. Strumming and “alzapúas” are especially well-suited to this instrument thanks to the clarity and sharpness of its sound. It is an instrument with an excellent quality/price ratio and presents a great opportunity for our clients, since this model reaches a price of €10,890 at the luthier’s workshop.

The action is medium, with a low string height at the saddle and fingerboard, allowing the left hand to perform extremely easily and smoothly.

The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent and entirely original, with no cracks or repairs of any kind. On the headstock, there is a slight varnish flaw due to the removal of the initials “PC” (Paco Cepero), which were originally printed and can be seen in the photo of the guitar’s delivery to maestro Cepero.
