This flamenco guitar was built by the Madrid luthier Mariano Conde in 2017. Mariano Conde is one of the heirs to the historic Madrid school of guitar making founded by Domingo Esteso and later developed by the Conde family, one of the most influential dynasties in the history of flamenco guitars.

This instrument is the EF4/5 model by Mariano Conde. Built according to the traditional principles of the Madrid school, it offers an excellent combination of comfort, reliability, and authentic flamenco character. This model currently has a retail price of €6,655 at the maker’s workshop.

The woods used in the construction of this guitar have been carefully selected. The soundboard is made from premium German spruce, while the back and sides are crafted from Spanish cypress. This traditional combination provides lightness, quick response, and the characteristic flamenco sound that has made the white guitars of the Madrid school famous worldwide.
