Flamenco guitar Javier Castaño 2022

This flamenco guitar was made by Javier Castaño in 2022. Javier Castaño was born in Madrid in 1974. Aged 14, he was really skilled, and his playing, really touching. When he was 22, he started his career as a guitar maker, taking several courses with Maestro Rafael López Porras, in Cádiz. In 2008 he completely devoted himself to the Madrid school. It is now when his career as a guitar maker takes a whole new direction, acquiring the knowledge and technique from this school of maestros. In 2014 he began working directly with the firm Conde Hermanos, in Atocha Street, shaping and providing the instrument with Julio Conde´s sound.

The different woods in this flamenco guitar are of the top existing quality. The top is made of german spruce, with an outlined grain, straight and smooth, that endorse its exceptional quality. The back and sides are made of Indian rosewood, with a straight grain and beautiful tones. The finishing is elegant and sober.

This flamenco guitar has surprised us significantly, as it represents the beginning of our comercial relationship with Javier Castaño, and his guitars nowadays meet high quality standards. Javier´s instruments always seemed good ones to us. However, a year ago we had the pleasure of trying one of them, and we really liked it, so we contacted him in order to reach an agreement and convince him to make a unit for us. As a result, here it is: powerful, flamenco, with great scope and clarity, great sound… flawless! We are so glad to have Javier as a part of solera Flamenca, and we are sure our friends and customers will be happy, as well.

The tension of the guitar is medium, and the height of the strings in saddle and fingerboard perfect, really balanced, which grants the performer a high degree of comfort for both hands.

The condition of this flamenco guitar is brand new.
