This flamenco guitar has been made by the guitar maker Jesús de Jiménez, from Sevilla. His guitars have been played by very popular performers, such as Paco de Lucía, Manolo Franco, Niño de Pura… being highly regarded in the last decade. He is probably one of the most promising guitar makers today.
The different woods in this flamenco guitar are of the top existing quality. The top is made of german spruce, with an outlined grain, straight and smooth, that endorse its exceptional quality. The back and sides are made of Indian rosewood, with a straight grain and beautiful tones. The finishing is elegant and sober.
It is worth noting the shellac varnish made by Jesús de Jiménez himself in a traditional way, with pumice stone, which gives it a special “vintage” style appearance with precious reflections.
The sound of this flamenco guitar is really spectacular. As regards new guitars, we are before an instrument which, had one not known the date it was made on, it could trick any expert performer, as it has some nuances and particularities which can only be acquired and shown in the very best guitars as years go by.
This guitar has the highly-valued “rebound beating” on the right hand, combined with fantastic softness on the left one, thus accomplishing the “perfect instrument”, should we want to spend hours and hours playing non-stop with a nice feeling of ease.
The condition of this flamenco guitar is brand new.
All our new guitars will be delivered with a styrofoam or rigid case (SEE MODELS) at the customer’s choice.
