Flamenco guitar Jesús de Jiménez 2022 (Sequoia)

This flamenco guitar has been made by the guitar maker Jesús de Jiménez, from Sevilla. His guitars have been played by very popular performers, such as Paco de Lucía, Manolo Franco, Niño de Pura… being highly regarded in the last decade. He is probably one of the most promising guitar makers today.

This is one of the first guitars we received built with the sequoia wood that we acquired a few months ago and that we distributed among the best guitar makers so that they could build guitars of superior quality for us, exclusive and unique. (YOU CAN ACCESS THE NEWS BY CLICKING HERE)

This is the first sequoia guitar we have received from maestro Jesús de Jiménez. The result has beaten our high expectations by far: an instrument of the highest quality in every sense, with a sound capable of surprising the most demanding guitarist. Secuoya has certain acoustic characteristics that make it one of the best woods to use for flamenco guitars, due to the shape and distribution of its grain and the crystallisation of its interior fibres and resins, which achieve a timbre that resembles the speed and clarity of cedar’s but with the sweetness and bass closer to spruce-pine’s.

The strings height and adjustment which this guitar allows is simply perfect, this permits an extremely comfortable touch in both hands and an increase in fluidity when playing the instrument.

The condition of this flamenco guitar is brand new.
