This flamenco guitar was made by José Ramírez II in 1932. In his workshop, under his superb teaching, some of the very best makers of that time were trained. For example, Marcelo Barbero, or Manuel Rodríguez, among others.
This guitar has been made according to Madrid school tradition, with spectacular woods, regarding both beauty and quality. Looking at the details, one can notice neatness, dedication, and care in its making.
Its sound achieves the perfect balance between brightness and depth, with an unusual volume for this type of guitar. A guitar with a sweet timbre and surprising projection, combining warmth and quality at their finest in a single instrument. This is a unique opportunity for both top-level guitarists and collectors, given the rarity of finding such instruments in this condition.
The string height and setup of this guitar are simply perfect, allowing for extremely comfortable playability with both hands and enhancing fluidity when playing the instrument.
The condition of this flamenco guitar is good. It has some cracks on the soundboard, which have been perfectly repaired and documented in the attached images, while preserving the originality of all its parts.
