The woods used in this flamenco guitar are exceptional. The German spruce soundboard features a striking, straight and remarkably even grain, while the cypress back and sides are of outstanding beauty and quality.

As for its sound, this is a guitar with a distinctly flamenco character, offering an especially fast and expressive response. The basses have depth and body, combining remarkable brightness with a particular touch of growling resonance that gives the instrument its personality. The trebles, meanwhile, stand out for their clarity and precision, responding quickly while retaining a beautiful sustain. A true gem of an instrument, born from the hands of a craftsman whose finesse and perfection in construction have always fascinated us, as has the highly personal and unmistakably flamenco character of his guitars.

This flamenco guitar has a medium action, with a very well-balanced string height both along the fingerboard and at the bridge saddle, providing excellent comfort in both hands and making the instrument particularly easy to play.

The guitar is in excellent and completely original condition. A slight separation can be seen along the central joint of the soundboard. This is relatively common in vintage guitars as a result of humidity changes over the years and does not in any way compromise the structural integrity of the instrument. The shellac finish shows checking across virtually the entire instrument. This is purely cosmetic and, for many—ourselves included—adds an extra touch of beauty and distinction to the guitar.
