Flamenco guitar Hermanos Conde 1978

This flamenco guitar was built in the landmark workshop Gravina Street No. 7 by the nephews of the master luthier Domingo Esteso, then run by brothers Faustino and Mariano Conde. Many were the figures who passed through this workshop suing their guitars as Paco de Lucia, Melchor de Marchena, Niño Ricardo, Cepero, Pepe Habichuela… and much more.

The woods in this flamenco guitar are simply perfect. The top is made of German spruce, with an amazing grain: completely straight and uniform. The back and sides are made of an extraordinary cypress. The finishes are the typical in Conde Hermanos work: simple and elegant.

This flamenco guitar has this special and unique timbre which the firm Hermanos Conde gave the whole world as a gift in the 70s. A timbre which particularly stands out in the bass, really deep and with remarkable body, managing to captivate all the great guitarists of that time.

The tension is medium, very comfortable for both hands, due to the reduced height of strings in the saddle and fingerboard.

The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent and completly original, it has just one crack in the side, near to the zoque, which has been perfectly repaired and is documented in the attached images.
