This flamenco guitar was built in the landmark workshop Gravina Street No. 7 by the nephews of the master luthier Domingo Esteso, then run by brothers Faustino and Mariano Conde. Many were the figures who passed through this workshop suing their guitars as Paco de Lucia, Melchor de Marchena, Niño Ricardo, Cepero, Juan Habichuela… and much more.
This guitar is made of excellent woods, impossible to obtain nowadays. Straight-grained Indian rosewood with breathtakingly beautiful shades, as well as German spruce top, also with a straight and even grain endorse the quality of this guitar with plenty of quality and character, typical of Hermanos Conde in that time.
Playing this flamenco guitar is a true privilege, a unique experience. It has this sweet, “tamed” we hear from maestro Paco´s favourite guitar in his concerts. In fact, it might be the most accurate description of this guitar: “It sounds like Paco!” It is a guitar whose previous owner received as a present from his father, who directly ordered it from the firm Hermanos Conde, making a explicit reference, which said he wanted “a guitar just like Paco de Lucia´s”. For any reason, the guitar was almost never played, and was kept and preserved in its case until today. Therefore, it is a spotless guitar, in a perfect condition, which has only undergone the change of its pegbox, as the original one was not perfectly tuned.
This flamenco guitar has got medium tension, and a perfect height of strings in the saddle and fingerboard, providing the guitarist with a high degree of comfort for both hands, as well as an easy performance.
The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent, being completely original and without any single kind of crack or repair whatsoever.
