Flamenco guitar Hermanos Conde 1986 «Mod. Especial»

This flamenco guitar was built by the prestigious Hermanos Conde de Madrid, in the year 1986. After having worked together in 7 Gravina Street, Mariano Conde decided to work on his own in Felipe V Street, Madrid, where he taught his children, Mariano and Felipe Conde, the art of guitar making. These two children learnt so much that they managed to take over the workshop until 2010. This model is a special limited edition of the very few guitars were built, these being highly valued and sought after by guitarists and collectors.

This guitar is made of excellent woods, impossible to obtain nowadays. Straight-grained indian rosewood with breathtakingly beautiful shades, as well as German spruce top, also with a straight and even grain endorse the quality of this guitar with plenty of quality and character, typical of Hermanos Conde in that time.

This flamenco guitar is part of a very reduced number of guitars made in Felipe V Street, tagged as “Special Model”, as the very best woods were selected for their making. Probably one of the most desired guitars during that “Felipe V” period, and particularly hard to find, too. It is a guitar with big and powerful sound, admirable scope, and beautiful flamenco timbre. The bass strings have this special “weight”, which reminds us of the guitars from the 70s made by this firm. The trebles deliver a huge variety of harmonics all along the fingerboard.

This flamenco guitar has got medium tension, and a perfect height of strings in the saddle and fingerboard, providing the guitarist with a high degree of comfort for both hands, as well as an easy performance.

The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent and completly original, without any cracks or repairs.
