Flamenco guitar Hermanos Conde 1993

This flamenco guitar was built by the prestigious Hermanos Conde de Madrid, in the year 1993, the most splendorous time after Mariano and Faustino Conde´s death by the beginning of the 1990s. After having worked together in 7 Gravina Street, Mariano Conde decided to work on his own in Felipe V Street, Madrid, where he taught his children, Mariano and Felipe Conde, the art of guitar making. These two brothers learnt so much that they managed to take over the workshop until 2010.

The woods employed for the making of this guitar are German spruce for the top and Spanish Royal cypress for back and sides. It´s worth remarking how beautiful these high quality woods are, especially the Spanish Royal cypress. The top has got a very marked, straight and even grain.

The sound of this guitar is extraordinary, regarding volume and quality. The basses is very powerful and deep, the trebles are crystal clear and bright, with great scope and sustain, and showing a perfect balance between both of them

The tension is medium, with a very balanced height between strings in the saddle and fingerboard, providing us with a high degree of comfort for both hands.

The condition of this flamenco guitar is excellent, only has a small fisure in the upper side practically indistinguishable, perfectly repaired and documented in the attached images. The guitar has been repolished with natural varnish nitrocellulose in the same way as to the “maestro” Faustino Conde.
