Flamenco guitar Hermanos Conde 1986 Ex Habichuela’s Family

This flamenco guitar was made by Faustino Conde in 1986. One of the last ones this luthier made before he passed away in 1988. For example, Paco de Lucía, Melchor de Marchena, Niño Ricardo, Cepero, Pepe Habichuela, and so many others.

This flamenco guitar belongs to the Habichuelas family´s personal collection.

This instrument is part of a series of guitars made especially for the artists of that time. They were guitars which were delivered without being signed, thus allowing professionals to acquire them at a more affordable price, although committing themselves not to make a further profit with them.

This flamenco guitar is built with superior quality woods, impossible to obtain nowadays. The german spruce sound top has a perfect veining: straight, uniform and very marked over its entire surface, the back and sides are made of cypress wood, with an outstanding quality and beauty. The finishes are the typical ones of Hermanos Conde.

The sound emerging from this guitar possesses some special features and nuances, where the flamenco touch from this signature can be definitely found. The basses are very strong, with a very particular percussive sound. The trebles is just crystalline and well-defined and with an amazing scope, all of which makes quite a balanced set of features and a very accentuated flamenco sound, perfect both for a concert or for “cante” and “baile” accompaniment.

The guitar tension of this guitar is medium, and the string height in fret board and bridge is perfectly balanced, what gives to the guitar a great comfort in both hands.

The condition of this guitar is excellent and completly original, without any cracks or repairs.
