This flamenco guitar has been made by the guitar maker Jesús de Jiménez, from Sevilla. His guitars have been played by very popular performers, such as Paco de Lucía, Manolo Franco, Niño de Pura… being highly regarded in the last decade. He is probably one of the most promising guitar makers today.
The different woods in this flamenco guitar are of the top existing quality. The top is made of german spruce, with an outlined grain, straight and smooth, that endorse its exceptional quality. The back and sides are made of Indian rosewood, with a straight grain and beautiful tones. The finishing is elegant and sober.
It is definitely worth saying how satisfactory the modifications by Jesus were, when he started his “second period” as a luthier. He surprised all of us with every single new guitar, which always had a highly personal touch which made them clearly different from the rest. “SEE NEWS”
The tension is medium, very comfortable for both hands, due to the reduced height of strings in the saddle and fingerboard.
The condition of this flamenco guitar is new.
